Hello

First of all, I understand German, only writing is a bit difficult.
(I live in Holland that's why :)

I am almost so far to buy b1gMail and all the Modules and mailserver2 version.

I run the server test and my dedicated server has a green go for all required to run the software.

Question:
I did read about the possibility to convert Hivemail to B1gMail.
But is this also possible with Hivemail version 1.3.1?
How will the conversion take place?
Can I replace all hivemail program files with B1gMail and start the conversion? or how do I need to do that?

I am running cpanel: is b1gMailServer compatible with cpanel? Or?

Hi,

b1gMail 7 does not allow you to convert from HiveMail anymore. But you can install Version 6 first, convert from HiveMail and then upgrade to Version 7.

We did not test the conversion routine with HiveMail 1.3.1, but there's a good chance that it will work, provided that the database structure did not change significantly.

When upgrading from HiveMail, you first leave HiveMail at your webspace and upload b1gMail into a seperate folder. When running the setup, you will be asked if you want to convert from HiveMail and you need to enter MySQL login to a new database for b1gMail data and for the database in which HiveMail resides.

I found the demo version of B1gmail 6
But when I try to convert I get the following...


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 25173867 bytes) in /<path to>/lib/classes.inc.php on line 1351

I hide the path for private matters :)

I have a .htaccess file with the following: (working)
php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
php_value post_max_size 128M
php_value memory_limit 128M
php_value max_execution_time 1200
php_value max_input_time 1200

I tried to increase the memory size to 2GB, but I get the same error.

Please help

Oh yes last remark, not sure if this has anything to do with it but I have Mod Security v2.1.5 installed on my dedicated server....

Where did you get the trial version of version 6 from?
 
I don't get it.
Even sending a mail is not helping. What do I need to do to get some simple answers.

This will be my last post.
Maybe it's german mentality but service has an other meaning than not responding... that's rude and no service....
